At 113 AM EDT/1213 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Whitwell, or 9 miles northeast of Jasper, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Chattanooga, Soddy-Daisy, Signal Mountain, Walden, Whitwell, Fairmount, Red Bank, Powells Crossroads, Martin Springs, and North Chickamauga Creek Gorge.
