At 259 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Lakeland, or 7 miles northeast of Bartlett, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Bartlett, Collierville, Germantown, Cordova, Memphis, Lakeland, Arlington, Somerville, Ellendale, Southeast Memphis, Eads, Warren, Macon, Oakland, Mason, Piperton, Gallaway, Williston, Braden, and Lenow. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 12 and 43. Interstate 240 between mile markers 13 and 17.
