At 439 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Alfred-South La Paloma, or 11 miles northeast of Alice, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Alice, Orange Grove, San Patricio, Alfred-South La Paloma, Alfred, Westdale, Bluntzer, Banquete, Agua Dulce and Lake Alice. This includes US Highway 281 between mile markers 658 and 670.
