Hot and humid air over some areas south of I-10 in the Winter Garden region, near and south of San Antonio, and in the Coastal Plains has caused heat indices to rise into the 105F to 110F range this afternoon. Heat indices are expected to decrease below 108F by 8 PM CDT. Practice heat safety and have access to cooling and hydration. Try to limit strenuous activities to the evening.
