At 705 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles south of Vega to 4 miles southwest of Dawn. Movement was east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hereford, Umbarger, Wildorado, Buffalo Lake, and Dawn. This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 44 and 51.
