At 548 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles west of Palo Duro Canyon, or 8 miles southeast of Canyon, moving north at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Palo Duro Canyon, and Timbercreek Canyon. This includes Interstate 27 between mile markers 91 and 109.
