At 359 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles west of Canyon to 4 miles northwest of Palo Duro Canyon. Movement was southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Mescalero Park, Buffalo Lake, Wayside, Umbarger, Palo Duro Canyon, and Timbercreek Canyon. This includes Interstate 27 between mile markers 91 and 115.
