At 342 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles south of Wellington to 3 miles southeast of Mackenzie Reservoir. Movement was south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Childress, Tulia, Memphis, Silverton, Turkey, Caprock Canyon State Park, Kress, Happy, Quitaque, Vigo Park, Kirkland, Claytonville, Mackenzie Reservoir, Brice, Valley Schools, Tell, Estelline, Lakeview, and Plaska Community.
