Bulletin details
Hot temperatures in the upper 90s to near 103 will combine with elevated humidities to send the heat index values into the 100 to 107 degree range across much of South Central Texas. A few pockets of locally higher heat index values in the 108 to 110 degree range are possible for an hour or two, mainly for isolated areas just east of I-35 and over the Rio Grande Plains. Practice heat safety including taking frequent breaks from direct sun exposure and staying hydrated.
