Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 315 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Salina to near Annabella. Movement was northwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Richfield, Salina, Annabella, Centerfield, Aurora, Redmond, Glenwood, Sigurd, and Axtell. This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 between mile markers 34 and 67. US Route 50 between mile markers 141 and 158. US Route 89 between mile markers 226 and 238. Utah Route 24 between mile markers 16 and 19.
