Bulletin details

At 935 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Labyrinth Canyon, or 11 miles northeast of Page, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Lake Powell, Stateline Wash Slot Canyon, and Labyrinth Canyon. This storm will be capable of producing strong gusty winds on Lake Powell. This will lead to a sudden increase in waves and very choppy waters which will result in hazardous boating conditions. Boaters are urged to seek safe harbor if possible.
