At 1111 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Clinton to near Eagle Mountain. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Provo, Sandy, Ogden, Layton, Murray, Bountiful, Farmington, Park City, Morgan, Coalville, Hill Air Force Base, Heber City, West Jordan, Orem, Taylorsville, South Jordan, Lehi, and Draper. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 262 and 347. Interstate 84 between mile markers 82 and 119. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 106 and 181. US Route 40 between mile markers 0 and 24, and between mile markers 28 and 43. Utah Route 35 between mile markers 0 and 5. Mirror Lake Highway between mile markers 0 and 1.
