At 504 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Magna to Salt Lake City. Movement was north at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Layton, Murray, Bountiful, Farmington, Hill Air Force Base, Taylorsville, Roy, Clearfield, Kaysville, Syracuse, South Salt Lake, Clinton, South Ogden, North Salt Lake, Centerville, Woods Cross, Washington Terrace, and Riverdale. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 301 and 338. Interstate 84 between mile markers 83 and 102. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 106 and 125.
