At 300 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Kearns to near Herriman. Movement was east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Sandy, Murray, West Jordan, Taylorsville, South Jordan, Lehi, Draper, Riverton, Cottonwood Heights, Midvale, Holladay, South Salt Lake, Herriman, Bluffdale, Camp Williams, Millcreek, Kearns, and Magna. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 286 and 309. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 109 and 127.
