If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Murray, Bountiful, Tooele, Farmington, Grantsville, Morgan, Taylorsville, Kaysville, South Salt Lake, North Salt Lake, Centerville, Woods Cross, Stansbury Park, Summit Park, West Bountiful, Kearns, Delle, and Salt Lake City International Airport. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 302 and 327. Interstate 84 between mile markers 100 and 106. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 68 and 135.
