Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 311 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 25 miles south of Vernon to 21 miles west of Nephi to 8 miles northwest of Scipio. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Scipio, Oak City, Leamington, Lynndyl, Little Sahara State Park, Jericho, Mills, and Yuba Lake State Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 188 and 215. US Route 6 between mile markers 102 and 134. US Route 50 near mile marker 130.
