At 341 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Skull Valley to 12 miles west of Nephi. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... West Valley City, Tooele, Payson, Grantsville, Nephi, West Jordan, South Jordan, Lehi, Riverton, Spanish Fork, Herriman, Eagle Mountain, Santaquin, Stansbury Park, Bluffdale, Salem, Elk Ridge, Woodland Hills, Rocky Ridge, and Cedar Fort. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 209 and 255. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 79 and 105. US Route 6 between mile markers 125 and 160. US Route 89 between mile markers 281 and 305.
