At 554 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles northwest of Hooper to 12 miles west of Dugway English Village. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, Ogden, Layton, Tooele, Farmington, Grantsville, Hill Air Force Base, Dugway English Village, Roy, Clearfield, Kaysville, Syracuse, Clinton, North Ogden, South Ogden, Washington Terrace, Stansbury Park, Riverdale, Hooper, and South Weber. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 325 and 350. Interstate 84 between mile markers 82 and 88. Interstate 80 in Utah between mile markers 66 and 112.
