At 240 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Panguitch Lake, or 27 miles east of Cedar City, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Panguitch, Panguitch Lake, and Hillsdale. This includes US Route 89 between mile markers 126 and 133.
