At 450 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 23 miles northeast of Beaver Dam. This storm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Iron County. This includes the following highways... Utah Route 18 between mile markers 48 and 51. Utah Route 56 between mile markers 13 and 29.
