At 736 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Lindon, or 9 miles north of Provo, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Provo, Park City, Heber City, Orem, Lehi, Draper, Pleasant Grove, American Fork, Heber, Lindon, Alpine, Kamas, Oakley, Francis, Daniel, Vineyard, Wasatch Mountain State Park, Samak, Timber Lakes, and Little Cottonwood Canyon. This includes the following highways... Interstate 15 between mile markers 269 and 279. US Route 40 between mile markers 6 and 34. Utah Route 35 between mile markers 0 and 21. Mirror Lake Highway between mile markers 0 and 17.
