At 657 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles west of Nassawadox, or 12 miles southwest of Exmore, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Nassawadox around 705 AM EDT. Willis Wharf around 710 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Birdsnest, Jamesville, Silver Beach, Eastville, Wachapreague, Machipongo, Wardtown, Franktown, Simpkins, and Painter.
