At 1211 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Ladysmith to near Wyndham. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Ladysmith around 1215 PM EDT. Ashland and Randolph Macon College around 1220 PM EDT. Bowling Green, Milford, and Kings Dominion around 1225 PM EDT. Mechanicsville, Hanover, East Highland Park, and Dawn around 1230 PM EDT. Mangohick and Studley around 1235 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Chilesburg, Golansville, Guinea, Corbin, Vontay, Gum Tree, Elmont, Etna Mills, Penola, and Gilman.
