At 1028 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fairview Beach to near Fort Walker to near Mangohick. Movement was northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Port Royal and Newtown around 1035 PM EDT. Loretto around 1040 PM EDT. Leedstown around 1045 PM EDT. Colonial Beach and Champlain around 1050 PM EDT. Newland around 1100 PM EDT. Montross around 1105 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Beazley, Hustle, Potomac Beach, Elevon, Supply, Stratford Hall, Mount Landing, Duane Fork, Rappahannock Academy, and Lerty.
