At 145 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Patrick Henry Field, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Newport News, Hampton, Langley AFB, Northampton, and Beaconsdale around 150 PM EDT. Hampton University, Grand View, and Buckroe Beach around 200 PM EDT. Fort Monroe around 205 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Fox Hill, Phoebus, Langley View, Oriana, Hilton Village, Raleigh Terrace, Greenbrier, Dare, Newport News Golf Course, and Wards Corner.
