At 110 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Cumberland, moving southeast at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, penny size hail, and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southern Cumberland and northwestern Amelia Counties, including the following locations... Angola, McRae, Grays Siding, Oak Forest, and Bear Creek Lake State Park.
