At 453 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles east of Charlottesville, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Boswells Tavern around 505 PM EDT. Louisa around 525 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Nahor, Pendleton, Louisa Airport, Green Springs, Stage Junction, Zion Crossroads, Union Mills, Cuckoo, Caledonia, and Wildwood.
