At 525 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from East Highland Park to near Sabot. Movement was north at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Richmond, Mechanicsville, Tuckahoe, Laurel, Lakeside, East Highland Park, Wyndham, Glen Allen, Manakin, and Sabot around 530 PM EDT. Ashland and Oilville around 535 PM EDT. Randolph Macon College and Hanover around 540 PM EDT. Montpelier, Dawn, Kings Dominion, and Mangohick around 550 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Golansville, Crozier, Vontay, Gum Tree, Johnsons Springs, Elmont, Etna Mills, Penola, Gilman, and Solomons Store.
