At 1034 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Dillwyn to near Guinea Mills to near Farmville. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Farmville and Guinea Mills around 1040 PM EDT. Cumberland around 1045 PM EDT. Sunnyside and Lakeside Village around 1055 PM EDT. Tobaccoville around 1100 PM EDT. Cartersville and Ballsville around 1105 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Hatchers, Raines Tavern, Trents Mill, Tuggle, Angola, Ashby, Oak Forest, Provost, Rodophil, and McRae.
