At 912 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Boswells Tavern, or 10 miles west of Louisa, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. Locations impacted include... Louisa, Mineral, Boswells Tavern, Gordonsville, Pendleton, Louisa Airport, Green Springs, Fredericks Hall, Waldrop, Byrd Mill, Trevilians, Wares Crossroads, and Vawter Corner.
