Bulletin details

A line of heavy showers and a few thunderstorms will impact portions of the New River and Roanoke Valleys east into the foothills of Virginia through 730am. Rainfall rates will reach 2 to 4 inches at times, leading to poor drainage flooding of ditches, low spots and urban areas. As you head out this morning be alert to water ponded on the roads. Slow down to avoid hydroplaning.
