At 107 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Fort Eustis, or near Newport News, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Newport News, Patrick Henry Field, Fort Eustis, and Denbigh around 110 PM EDT. Tabb around 115 PM EDT. Hampton around 120 PM EDT. Langley AFB around 130 PM EDT. Grand View around 140 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Fox Hill, Phoebus, Langley View, Oriana, Hilton Village, Dare, Newport News Golf Course, Oyster Point, Messick, and Hornsbyville.
