At 1143 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Sherman Pass, or 47 miles east of Omak, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Sherman Pass. This includes U.S. Highway 20 in Washington between mile markers 311 and 316, and between mile markers 318 and 328.
