Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

At 345 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 21 miles east of Stehekin, or 30 miles west of Omak, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Twisp and Black Pine Lake Campground. This includes U.S. Highway 20 in Washington between mile markers 197 and 207.
