At 1003 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Fall River to near Brooklyn. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects....

What the bulletin says to do

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 PM CDT for southeastern Wisconsin.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Watertown, Whitewater, Hartford, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Lake Mills, Waterloo, Juneau, Johnson Creek, Palmyra, Hustisford, Lake Ripley, Lake Koshkonong, Ixonia, Rome, Ashippun, Rubicon, Lebanon, Milford, and Hebron. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 151 between mile markers 121 and 126. Interstate 94 between mile markers 255 and 278. Wisconsin Highway 26 between mile markers 14 and 53.
