At 257 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Clinton, or 10 miles west of Delavan, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Janesville, Beloit, Elkhorn, Delavan, Lake Geneva, Williams Bay, Genoa City, Walworth, Clinton, Richmond, Fontana-On-Geneva Lake, Sharon, Darien, Como, Pell Lake, Powers Lake, Bohners Lake, Springfield, Tiffany, and Avalon. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 12 between mile markers 322 and 338. Interstate 39/90 between mile markers 176 and 185. Interstate 43 between mile markers 0 and 27.
