At 1009 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Palmyra, or 8 miles west of East Troy, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Elkhorn, Union Grove, East Troy, Wind Lake, Rochester, Browns Lake, Waterford North, Potter Lake, Eagle Lake, Burlington, Waterford, La Grange, Honey Creek, Abells Corners, Tibbets, Millard, Kansasville, North Cape, and Troy Center. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 12 near mile marker 320. Interstate 43 between mile markers 30 and 42.
