At 311 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 27 miles southwest of Spencer to 30 miles southwest of Babcock, or extending from 40 miles west of Wisconsin Rapids to 46 miles southwest of Wisconsin Rapids, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. The strong thunderstorm will be near... Babcock and Pittsville around 340 AM CDT. Wisconsin Rapids around 355 AM CDT. Lake Wazeecha around 400 AM CDT. Stevens Point and Whiting around 410 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by this strong thunderstorm include Lindsey, Scranton, Veedum, Sandhill Wildlife Area, Dexterville, North Wood County Park, Cranmoor, Bethel, Powers Bluff County Park and Walker.
