This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Bulletin details

At 644 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Clendenin, or 16 miles northeast of Charleston, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sissonville, Clendenin, Amma, Left Hand, Looneyville, Tariff, Walton, and Gandeeville. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 11 and 32, and between mile markers 35 and 36. Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 111 and 114.
