At 717 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Elkview, or 12 miles northeast of Charleston, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sissonville, Clendenin, Amma, Elkview, Procious, and Left Hand. This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 8 and 29.
