A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for western and northwestern West Virginia.

At 249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Buffalo, or 9 miles northwest of Winfield, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Winfield, Sissonville, Buffalo, Kenna, Grimms Landing, Given, Southside, Fraziers Bottom, Liberty, and Fairplain. This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 123 and 125, and between mile markers 129 and 132.
