At 921 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Prosperity, or near Beckley, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Beckley, Fayetteville, Oak Hill, Mount Hope, Bradley, Prosperity, Piney View, Stanaford, Pax, and Thurmond. This includes the following highways... West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 45 and 54. Route 19 between mile markers 1 and 18.
