At 756 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Fort Steele Historic Site, or 17 miles east of Rawlins, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fort Steele Historic Site. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 229 and 239.
