At 509 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Elk Mountain, or 46 miles east of Rawlins, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Elk Mountain, Arlington, and McFadden. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 249 and 279.
