At 153 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Gillette Airport to 12 miles southwest of Pumpkin Buttes, or extending from 9 miles northwest of Gillette to 29 miles southwest of Wright, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Gillette, Wright, Reno Junction, Belle Ayr Mine, Cordero Rojo Mine, Caballo Mine, Wyodak Mine, Savageton, Pine Tree Junction, Rozet, Pumpkin Buttes, Camplex Event Facility and Gillette Airport. This includes Interstate 90 in Wyoming between Mile Markers 97 and 145.
