Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs...
What the bulletin says to do
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in Riverton.

At 432 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles northwest of Boysen State Park to 6 miles north of Riverton to Red Canyon. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Shoshoni, Hidden Valley, and Boysen State Park around 440 PM MDT. Sand Draw around 445 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Lysite, Moneta, Lost Cabin and Castle Gardens.
