If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in Riverton.

At 358 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles northeast of Ocean Lake to 6 miles northwest of Arapahoe to near Worthen Meadows Reservoir. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Riverton, Lander, Arapahoe, Hudson, Milford, and Sinks Canyon State Park around 405 PM MDT. Boysen State Park around 410 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Hidden Valley.
