At 502 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Warren AFB, or near Cheyenne, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cheyenne, South Greeley Highway, Fox Farm-College, Cheyenne Regional Airport, Warren AFB, Frontier Park, South Cheyenne, Winchester Hills, Bison Crossing, Ranchettes, Cowboy Ranch South, and Grass Hills. This includes the following highways... Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 4 and 14. Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 354 and 366.
