At 1253 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Buford, or 18 miles southeast of Laramie, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Willadsen Estates, Granite Canon, Harriman Heights, Crystal Lake Reservoir, Vedauwoo Campground, Buford, North Crow Campground, Granite Springs Reservoir, Ames Monument, Curt Gowdy State Park, Pine Grove Estates, Granite Springs Retreat, Vedauwoo, and Cheyenne Pass. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 331 and 348.
