If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in Riverton.

At 408 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles north of Legend Rock State Petroglyph Site, which is 19 miles southeast of Meeteetse, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of north central Hot Springs and northwestern Washakie Counties, including the following locations... Badlands Overlook and Grass Creek.
